A dated bathroom, opened up and reimagined

This bathroom's layout was squared off by removing existing walls, opening the space right up. We designed and built a floating double vanity with a quartz countertop, added a walk-in hexagon-tile shower and a freestanding bath, and brought the feature wall to life with timber slat panelling and a backlit round mirror — finished with brushed aluminium fittings throughout.

The second bathroom, same home

This was the second bathroom we renovated in this home, carrying the same theme, colours and textures through from the first. Working with the existing plumbing, we gave the space new life with raw facebrick cladding on the feature wall, black hexagonal floor tiles, and white subway tiles — all pulled together with black fittings and taps for a modern finish.

A grand new entrance

We completely transformed this home's entrance, clearing the overgrown vegetation framing a small koi pond, then demolishing and rebuilding it larger so the fish have room to thrive. Three copper spout outlets give the water feature a clean, modern look, the flower bed opposite was raised for extra drama, and LED footwell lighting now welcomes guests after dark.

A tired kitchen with mismatched cabinet doors and worn granite counters was stripped back and rebuilt with a fresh two-tone palette — sage-green uppers and deep forest-green lowers, crisp white quartz counters, and a white subway tile splashback. Woven rattan pendants over the island finish the look with warmth.

Starting from a blank patch of lawn, we built this 3x5m pool from the ground up, finished with a Sky Blue marbalite interior and cream bull-nose copings, then finished off the surrounding area with freshly laid grass — ready just in time for summer.

Thanks to Bryneven Primary for giving us the opportunity to renew and restore this fun space. Out with the old play sand and in with new green turf, plus a rubberized and painted bike track and a full refresh of all the jungle gyms.
