An existing client of ours contacted us again and gave us the opportunity to completely revamp their patio entertainment area.

The area was origionally built many years ago and it definitely was in need of some TLC.

We completely demolished the existing, out dated patio roof that was already caving in.

We decided to extend the patio area to give the homeowners some extra space for all their entertaining

The area was pushed out an additional 1.5 in length so new foundations were dug and built up to the correct height and all compaction and steel re enforcement was done prior to the concrete foundation being poured

We built 2x 450mm columns that would support the new roof which was knitted neatly into the existing roof to create a seamless entertainment area connecting to the rest of the house.

The original braai remained in place but we built 2 servers on either side of the braai and finished them with a rustic cladding to create a feature area in the patio. Granite tops were fitted on top of the servers

We built and tiled stairs which leads you from the entertainment area into the beautiful garden

We decided to go with an exposed beam design for the roof and ceiling area to bring in another modern aspect to the whole area

Down lights and exterior wall lights were fitted to create the finishing ambiance that we were looking for

Lastly the installation of aluminium stacking doors finished off the openings so the patio can be utilized all year round
